Packers’ Moss could be candidate in Oakland

If the Raiders fire coach Tom Cable, they could strongly consider Packers assistant head coach Winston Moss as a replacement, a source close to the situation said.

Moss, who coaches Green Bay’s inside linebackers, interviewed with Oakland for the head-coaching job last offseason and is on its short list of potential candidates should the job become available.

With the Packers’ season finished following Sunday’s wild-card loss in Arizona, Moss is now free to interview with the team’s permission.
