Add another name to the list of potential candidates for the vacant general manager position in Seattle.
NFL Network insider Michael Lombardi reports that Floyd Reese, the senior football advisor for the Patriots and a former Titans GM, also will meet with the Seahawks this week.
In addition to Reese, the Seahawks will interview at least three other candidates this week. NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora has reported that Omar Khan, a well-respected front-office executive with the Steelers, also will interview, joining Packers director of football operations John Schneider and Giants director of college scouting Marc Ross on the Seahawks’ list.
Amid the Seahawks’ pursuit of Pete Carroll as coach, league sources have told La Canfora that the team informed GM candidates that their title and authority will not be impacted by the hire of a new coach, and the position would include roster control.
