Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh, the brother of Ravens coach John Harbaugh, could merit consideration for an NFL job, with the Bills and Raiders particularly worth monitoring, according to league sources.
Harbaugh’s stock has risen after his success at Stanford, and he’s a former NFL quarterback who comes from a strong coaching family. With other names in the news lately regarding possible openings, Harbaugh has gone under the radar somewhat, but he could receive interviews with multiple teams.
Harbaugh’s development hasn’t gone unnoticed by Raiders owner Al Davis in the Bay Area. Harbaugh also fits the description of an offensive-minded coach, who could instill a spark in a long-suffering Bills attack.
Harbaugh has been doing research and preparing should an opportunity arise.
