Henne out with eye injury

The Miami Dolphins are fighting for a playoff spot — even if it is a longshot — without starting QB Chad Henne.

Henne wasn’t on the field during either of the Dolphins’ first two drives of the second half, and has been announced as questionable to return with an eye injury. The Dolphins have turned to backup Pat White. The only other quarterback on the roster is Tyler Thigpen, the team’s emergency No. 3 QB. Keep in mind, if Thigpen enters the game before the fourth quarter, both Henne and White would be ineligible to return.

Henne was having a strong game before leaving, completing 16 of 20 passes for 140 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
