Colts’ roster will be thin for regular-season finale

The Colts already had ruled out four players for Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Bills, but three others also are out and didn’t travel to Buffalo, according to a team source.

DT Antonio Johnson (shoulder), K Adam Vinatieri (knee) and RB Chad Simpson (concussion) were listed as questionable but will not play. OT Ryan Diem (elbow), CB Jerraud Powers (hamstring), TE Gijon Robinson (knee), and LB Clint Session (knee) already were ruled out. That leaves the team with one inactive spot left to use Sunday.

The Colts listed 30 players on their injury report and might not have 45 players to dress. They expect to dress several ailing top players but would only use them in an emergency situation.
