NFL Network’s Playbook analysts seem to have finally learned how to agree. It only took until the season was in its penultimate week. They concur on 13 of 16 picks, but there is one notable game in which they are not unanimous: The big Christmas night matchup between the Chargers and Titans on NFL Network. Joe Theismann likes Tennessee to stop San Diego’s nine-game winning streak, while Brian Baldinger and Sterling Sharpe are confident the Chargers will extend their streak to 10.

Nothing goes better with the holidays than football, eh? We may not have the greatest matchups of the season this week, but more than enough to whet our palate for the playoffs. Our Christmas night game on NFL Network should be as good as any this week — Chargers at Titans — and we still have one team continuing its path to perfection. The playoff picture should crystallize more this week and, with any luck, we’ll have at least a few spots still on the line come Week 17.
