Dolphins lose Crowder to foot injury

The Dolphins placed LB Channing Crowder on injured reserve Wednesday because of a foot injury that he suffered during last weekend’s loss to the Texans.

The loss of Crowder is a big blow to the Dolphins (7-8), who need to beat the Steelers on Sunday and receive lots of help to earn a playoff spot. The Jets, Ravens, Texans and Jaguars all would need to lose.
