The NFL Network will reveal the best of the best on Tuesday, Dec. 29 when the 2010 Pro Bowl rosters are announced on the NFL Total Access Pro Bowl Selection Show primetime special at 7 p.m. ET. Host Rich Eisen and analysts Marshall Faulk and Warren Sapp will announce the 86 selections live.
A record 90 million fan votes count for one-third of the total to determine the rosters for the game, which will be played Sunday, Jan. 31 at Dolphin Stadium in South Florida.
So, for the next 24-plus hours, the debate can continue. Join NFL.com senior columnist Vic Carucci on Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET for a live Pro Bowl chat to discuss which players should get in, who could be left out and more on the Pro Bowl. Send in your questions for Vic now, and check back for the live chat to get in on the discussion.
Monday on Total Access, analyst Mike Martz picked the QBs he thinks should be on the AFC and NFC rosters. In the AFC, he gave the nod to Peyton Manning, Tom Brady and Philip Rivers. Sapp liked the picks, while Faulk argued the Texans’ Matt Schaub should get the call instead of Brady.
The NFC picks for Martz were Drew Brees, Brett Favre and Kurt Warner. Faulk believes Aaron Rodgers deserves to get in, while Sapp makes a strong case that it shouldn’t be a surprise to see Tony Romo on the roster.
We’ll find out Tuesday.
