The Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys clinched playoff berths with wins in Week 16, setting the field of six teams for the NFC playoffs.
The Packers and Cowboys both improved to 10-5 Sunday. The Packers routed the Seahawks 48-10, while the Cowboys picked up a 17-0 road win over the Redskins.
By virtue of the victories by the Packers and Cowboys, the New York Giants (8-7) were eliminated.
No other NFC teams clinched positioning Sunday. The Saints (13-2), who lost to the Bucs 20-17 in overtime, could have clinched homefield advantage throughout the NFC playoffs with a win. They can also clinch with a loss by the Vikings, who face the Bears on Monday night. The Vikings (11-3) have won the NFC North but are not in a position to clinch a first-round bye Monday night due to the Eagles’ 30-27 win over the Broncos.
Here’s the latest look on the overall playoff picture and seeding.
