Broncos will place Hochstein, McKinley on IR

The Broncos announced Monday — via Twitter, of course — that starting LG Russ Hochstein and WR Kenny McKinley will be placed on injured reserve.

Both players left Sunday’s loss to the Eagles with knee injuries. Hochstein was replaced by veteran Ben Hamilton, the former starter at the position who would likely be the starter in his absence. McKinley was injured during a kickoff return late in the first quarter. His absence — along with the ejection of Brandon Stokleyleft the Broncos thin at receiver.

Here’s a roundup of the Week 16 injuries that was posted following Sunday’s games.
