When it was announced that Patriots RB Fred Taylor was active today against the Jaguars, it was a red flag of sorts for fantasy owners who have RB Laurence Maroney.

Well, it’s been RB Sammy Morris, not Taylor, who is cutting into Maroney’s carries. Both backs have five attempts, but Morris has scored the team’s lone rushing touchdown.

It could be that the Patriots are going back to committee, at least for Week 16.

In Miami, Texans coach Gary Kubiak is giving RB Arian Foster that look he was supposed to get last week. The rookie, who has already scored a touchdown in the first half, has shared the workload with RB Ryan Moats.

Kubiak won’t be getting an holiday wishes from fantasy owners, that’s for certain.
