Falcons will announce extension for McKay

The Falcons are about to announce a five-year extension for team president Rich McKay, according to a team source.

McKay will have five years added to his contract, one year after the team reached the playoffs with then-rookie QB Matt Ryan.

McKay took his current position as president in 2008 after four years in a dual role as president and general manager.
