It’s at this time of the season that fantasy owners have to worry about losing some of their top players on teams that have clinched their postseason spot.
Luckily, you won’t lose Drew Brees, Marques Colston or the rest of the New Orleans Saints.
Coach Sean Payton said that he will not rest key players now that the quest for an undefeated season is over.
“We’re not resting them. We’re playing right now,” Payton told the New Orleans Times-Picayune. “There are only two weeks left in the regular season, and we’re full-speed ahead with this game that we’re playing.”
The Saints haven’t clinched the No. 1 seed in the NFC to this point, though a win against the Buccaneers would secure home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.
Tampa Bay has one of the more vulnerable defenses in the league, so Brees and his cast of offensive weapons should help countless owners take home a league championship.
