Brian Brohm likely will be the Bills’ starting quarterback in Sunday’s game against the Falcons, according to a league source.
Backup Trent Edwards is unlikely to play again this season, according to a team source, and starter Ryan Fitzpatrick is on crutches following last Sunday’s 17-10 loss to the Patriots. Both players sustained ankle injuries in that game.
Brohm, a 2008 second-round draft pick by the Packers, couldn’t stick with Green Bay and has been in Buffalo as the No. 3 QB since last month.
Quarterback Gibran Hamdan, who was released Nov. 19 when the Bills signed Brohm, was brought back by the team Tuesday.
