A difficult first half for the Redskins was heightened when QB Jason Campbell suffered a shoulder sprain late in the second quarter of Monday night’s game against the Giants.
Campbell was hurt when Giants DE Osi Umenyiora hit him from behind on a sack. Campbell had to be helped off the field and was taken to the locker room with the Redskins trailing 24-0 and under a minute left in the first half.
Campbell was replaced by Todd Collins for the remainder of the quarter, but he returned for the start of the second half.
The Redskins also saw OL Stephon Heyer leave with a knee injury. His return is questionable.
For the Giants, WR Hakeem Nicks (hamstring) and LG Rich Seubert (knee) are both questionable to return after leaving with injuries.
