Keep Eagles RB Westbrook on the bench

During his Monday press conference, Eagles coach Andy Reid said that Brian Westbrook (concussions) has been cleared to return to practice this week.

“We’ll know more here by [Tuesday], but right now it looks pretty good,” Reid said.

Even if Westbrook returns to action against the Broncos, there’s no reason for fantasy owners to start him.

The Eagles will ease the veteran back into the rotation, meaning LeSean McCoy and Leonard Weaver will continue to see their share of the workload.

If we learned anything from the whole Michael Turner debacle this past week, it’s that you can’t trust a questionable runner coming off an injury to produce.
