Ochocinco wears No. 85; Marshall honors Henry

After some back and forth during the week, which ended with Chad Ochocinco saying he didn’t want to be a distraction, the Bengals’ wide receiver ultimately decided not to wear the No. 15 jersey of deceased teammate Chris Henry in Sunday’s game against the Chargers.

Ochocinco, in fact,¬†is wearing his customary¬†white No. 85 jersey on the road in San Diego. In a quieter tribute, though, he pointed to the sky after his first reception of the game on the Bengals’ first drive during the first quarter. He did the same after scoring a touchdown later in the game.

Another No. 15 did honor Henry on Sunday. Broncos WR Brandon Marshall, who normally wears the number, donned a “Henry” nameplate on the back of his jersey during warmups before the game against the Raiders. He switched to his normal nameplate prior to the game starting.
