The Falcons didn’t get to see much from RB Michael Turner during Sunday’s game against the Jets.
Turner took the first carry of the game and immediately aggravated the ankle injury that has bothered him for the last five weeks. He didn’t enter the game again and officially has been ruled out, according to FOX sideline reporter Laura Omkin.
Turner gained 7 yards on his lone carry.
Jason Snelling and Jerious Norwood are carrying the rushing load for the Falcons so far. Norwood has had a tough day, banging up his knee during the first half and coming up with a bloody lip after a 4-yard run in the third quarter.
