Cardinals WR Fitzgerald will play vs. Lions

Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald is expected to play Sunday against the Lions, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

Fitzgerald’s main concern is a bone contusion in his knee, and it’s more a matter of playing with pain, not further injury or aggravation.

Update: Fitzgerald is active and scheduled to start, according to a league source. Cardinals K Neil Rackers is out and will be replaced by Mike Nugent, who signed with the team earlier in the week.
