The Chiefs activated WR Dwayne Bowe from the suspended list Saturday, according to the team’s official Web site, meaning he could play Sunday against the Browns.
Bowe served a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s policy against performance-enhancing substances. He has 33 receptions for 466 yards and four touchdowns this season, his third in the league.
To make roster room for Bowe, the Chiefs placed RB Dantrell Savage on season-ending injured reserve. He missed the previous four games because of an ankle injury.
The Chiefs also promoted G Darryl Harris from the practice squad and released WR Quinten Lawrence. Harris could help a depleted offensive line that might not have G Brian Waters (hamstring) and T Ryan O’Callaghan (knee) on Sunday.
