Ailing Brady misses practice for Patriots

The Patriots listed QB Tom Brady as missing practice Wednesday with injuries to his right shoulder, rib and a finger on his throwing hand.

Brady also missed two practices last week as he dealt with the lingering injuries, and he was listed as questionable to play against the Panthers. He did play, however, and threw for 192 yards and one touchdown with one interception in a 20-10 victory.

The Patriots also practiced without NT Vince Wilfork (foot), DE Ty Warren (ankle) and WR Randy Moss (not injury related) on Wednesday.

Wilfork injured his foot during the first half against the Panthers and briefly returned during the second half before leaving for good. He was able to walk off the field under his own power, but he threw his helmet in frustration.

Warren also sustained his ankle injury last weekend.

Moss sometimes sits out midweek practices, as he did last week.
