NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora is reporting that Jaguars WR Mike Sims-Walker is active against the Dolphins. Consider him a risk-reward fantasy option.
La Canfora also reports that Bears WR Devin Hester will be inactive with an injured calf, while Vikings WR Percy Harvin (migraines) is also expected to be out.
Fantasy owners in desperate need for a wideout might want to add WR Earl Bennett, who should see more targets against the Packers. With Hester out, TE Greg Olsen could be in for a tough afternoon if he draws CB Charles Woodson.
I’d bench Olsen if you have a viable replacement.
In New England, Patriots RB Fred Taylor was seen warming up and could return to action against the Panthers. If that happens, I’d downgrade RBs Laurence Maroney and Sammy Morris despite the favorable matchup.
Finally, Steve Wyche of NFL.com is reporting that Bengals RB Cedric Benson will share carries with RB Larry Johnson against the Minnesota Vikings.
Based on the tough matchup and the potential to lose some carries to Johnson, Benson has become a risk for fantasy owners.
