Lions RB Smith carted off after injury

Adding injury to insult, the Lions lost RB Kevin Smith to what appears to be a left knee injury Sunday against the Ravens.

With the Lions trailing 41-3 during the fourth quarter, Smith was injured at the end of a 15-yard run when he stopped awkwardly to try to make a cut. Smith wasn’t touched on the play and immediately went down. He had to be carted off the field.

Smith, the focal point of the Lions’ offense, had 21 rushes for 69 yards and added two receptions for 19 yards.
