The Oakland Raiders have switched quarterbacks again … but this time due to injury. Starter Bruce Gradkowski has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday’s game against the Redskins due to a right knee injury. JaMarcus Russell is now in.
Gradkowski appeared to injure the knee during the second quarter, but remained in the game. When the Raiders came out for their first drive of the second half, Russell was under center. Gradkowski had remained on the sideline, but was just spotted limping off, headed toward the locker room.
Gradkowski went 10-of-18 passing for 153 yards in the first half.
Raiders CB Nnamdi Asomugha also left during the third quarter with a right forearm injury and was announced as questionable to return.
