A couple of injury updates to pass along out of the Sunday night game between the Eagles and Giants in New Jersey.
Eagles rookie WR Jeremy Maclin has left the game due to his lingering foot injury — plantar fasciitis – that forced him to miss two practices last week. Maclin, who was able to practice on Friday, had been listed as questionable for the game.
Maclin was announced as doubtful to return.
The Giants lost RT Kareem McKenzie to what appeared to be a lower left leg injury during the second quarter. McKenzie went down after an Eagles rusher landed on his lower left leg. Trainers checked his left knee as he laid on the field, and he was able to get to his feet and walk off under his own power. McKenzie later walked off the sideline into the locker room, limping noticeably. He was replaced by rookie OT William Beatty.
