Bennett ruled out for Cowboys vs. Chargers

Tight end TE Martellus Bennett has been ruled out of the Cowboys’ Sunday tilt with the San Diego Chargers. Bennett missed practice this week after experiencing concussion-related symptoms. Safety Ken Hamlin and T Marc Colombo are also out.
Listed as probable are RB Deon Anderson (knee), CB Terence Newman (knee), S Gerald Sensabaugh (thumb), LB DeMarcus Ware (wrist) and TE Jason Witten (foot).
For the Chargers, LB Shaun Phillips participated in practice Friday after missing Wednesday and Thursday’s sessions with an ankle injury. He’s listed as probable.
DE Alfonso Boone (knee) and C Nick Hardwick (ankle) are both out for the Bolts, while safety Eric Weddle (knee) is listed as questionable and LB Shawne Merriman is questionable after missing last week’s game against Cleveland but participating fully in practice on Friday.
Also listed as probable for the Chargers are DE Luis Castillo (calf), CB Quentin Jammer (toe), DE Travis Johnson (groin), T Marcus McNeill (ankle), WR Legedu Naanee (foot), and P Mike Scifres (groin).
