Weather could be a factor for Steelers-Browns

It’s December in Cleveland, so it’s not a surprise that the weather outside will be frightful in tonight’s Steelers-Browns game.
The forecast is calling for windy conditions and a temperature in the teens with possible snow showers.
The wind chill could make it feel like below zero on the field.
That should mean a serious reliance on the running game for both teams, so expect Steelers RB Rashard Mendenhall to find success. Browns RB Jerome Harrison should also see more work, but he’s a risk against the Steel Curtain, since Pittsburgh’s defense has allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to running backs.
The forecast also makes Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger a bit less attractive. The matchup is great without question, but the windy conditions could hurt his production.
I see him as more of a low-end fantasy starter as a result.
With WR Hines Ward a major question mark due to an injured hamstring, I’d still start WR Santonio Holmes. Rookie WR Mike Wallace also sees a boost in value with Ward likely out, but again, consider the weather when using him.
For Cleveland, I’d beware of starting anyone in this contest. Harrison has flex value in PPR leagues, but he’s the lone option in standard leagues.
The Steelers have struggled to stop the pass in recent weeks, so Browns QB Brady Quinn is worth a look in those deeper formats that start two quarterbacks.
