Moss among four Pats sent home for being late

Patriots coach Bill Belichick sent four players home for being late to a morning meeting Wednesday, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

The group of players included star WR Randy Moss and starting LB Adalius Thomas (who was a healthy scratch for a game earlier this season). There is bad weather in the Boston area, but Belichick’s demand for discipline and punctuality is well known.

The players missed all of Wednesday’s work, including a key midweek practice for the slumping Patriots. Belichick hasn’t yet addressed his team on the matter, though he could as they gather on the practice field.
