Cowboys’ Adams fined $50k for late hit on Tuck

Dallas Cowboys tackle Flozell Adams was fined $50,000 for his hit on Justin Tuck during Sunday’s loss to the New York Giants, according to a league source.

The fine, very significant for any player with an on-field conduct issue, came after Adams was repeatedly hit with other fines for illegal infractions.

Adams has a history with Tuck and had already amassed $25,000 in fines this season, leading to serious discussions by league officials about suspending him.

Should he step out of line again this season a suspension for the longtime starter is likely.
