Panthers won’t have Williams vs. Bucs

Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams will be inactive Sunday against the Buccaneers, a league source told NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora.

Williams, who’s fifth in the NFL with 1,022 rushing yards this season, didn’t practice all week because of an ankle injury. His absence likely means that Jonathan Stewart will start for the Panthers.
