Giants bench Umenyiora, Robbins vs. Cowboys

The Giants have benched three defensive starters for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys. The changes include DE Mathias Kiwanuka for Osi Umenyiora, DT Chris Canty for Fred Robbins and MLB Jonathan Goff for Chase Blackburn.

The Giants also will be without another starter, FS Michael Johnson, who is inactive because of a groin injury. He had been listed as questionable. C.C. Brown will start in Johnson’s place.
