Eagles RB Weaver should be on the radar

Eagles rookie RB LeSean McCoy continues to start in the absence of RB Brian Westbrook, but he’s not a true featured back.

At least, he hasn’t been today.

McCoy is losing work to FB Leonard Weaver, who had 63 receiving yards and one touchdown early against the Falcons. Weaver could be worth a look off the waiver wire in larger leagues.

The same can’t be said of Texans QB Rex Grossman.

He replaced Matt Schaub, who left in the first quarter with what looked like a left shoulder ailment. His return is questionable.

If Schaub is out long-term, I still wouldn’t touch Grossman outside of larger formats or those leagues that start two quarterbacks.

I’d also be a little worried if I own WR Andre Johnson, whose production could be affected with Grossman at the helm.
