NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora is reporting that Texans RB Steve Slaton will be inactive for Week 13. RB Chris Brown will get the start in his absence and is a viable flex option in larger fantasy leagues.
La Canfora also reports that the Rams are optimistic that RB Steven Jackson will be active against the Bears. That’s good news for fantasy owners, as RBs Samkon Gado and Kenneth Darby aren’t great replacements if Jackson were out.
La Canfora has also learned from a team source that Saints RB Reggie Bush will play today against the Redskins. He’s no more than a flex option, especially in PPR formats.
The Saints are also expected to use K Garrett Hartley over John Carney in the contest. Be sure to release Carney and add Hartley or another kicker off the waiver wire.
Finally, the agent for Cardinals QB Kurt Warner said he would be “very surprised” if his client didn’t play against the Vikings on Sunday night. Barring some sort of setback, it appears safe to use Warner in all formats.
