Eagles will be without WR Jackson vs. Falcons

The Eagles will face the Falcons on Sunday without their top big-play threat after WR DeSean Jackson (concussion) officially was ruled out by the team Friday.
Jackson, who leads the Eagles in receiving yards (769) and receiving touchdowns (six), hadn’t practiced all week after suffering the concussion in the third quarter of last week’s victory over the Redskins. Jackson’s absence also means a blow to Philadelphia’s special teams since he returns punts.
The Eagles also ruled out RB Brian Westbrook (concussion), WR Kevin Curtis (knee) and LB Akeem Jordan (knee) for playing against the Falcons.
