Marshawn Lynch fired up

TORONTO – Marshawn Lynch wasn’t given the start tonight, with the Bills going with Fred Jackson instead, and it seems to have brought out the best in the running back.

Lynch is running hard, busting a seam for 35 yards and then following it up with a 15-yard touchdown run. The Jets might soon regret not converting their turnovers into more points, especially with the Bills now clicking offensively.

Crazy how quickly a game can turn.

Ryan Fitzpatrick just missed T.O. down the sideline for what would have been a huge gain, and one play later he was sacked and stripped. The Jets settle for three despite great field position, and then the Bills start running the ball all over them.

I will be interested to see if Braylon Edwards is able to turn his night around after his early drop of a sure touchdown. He made a great effort extending fully to catch a high third-down pass, so perhaps that will settle him down. The Jets do not want to have to start playing from behind and deviating from their run-heavy game plan, either, which opens Mark Sanchez up to problems.
