Steelers QB Roethlisberger a Week 13 option

The Pittsburgh Steelers (and fantasy owners alike) should expect to have QB Ben Roethlisberger (concussion) back in action for Week 13.
Roethlisberger, who missed last week’s loss to the Ravens, did not practice on Monday but worked out on his own and did not have any problems. A top-10 fantasy quarterback on NFL.com who I have at No. 13 in my current QB rankings, Big Ben appears safe to get back into starting fantasy lineups.
The veteran has a favorable matchup against the Raiders, who have allowed an average of 26.2 points and 250.6 passing yards per game on the road this season.
Of course, the real fantasy hero in this contest might not be Roethlisberger at all. In fact, I think it will be RB Rashard Mendenhall.
Oakland’s defense has allowed the third-most fantasy points to running backs this season, so Mendenhall should thrive in this battle of old NFL foes.
