The inactive players for Sunday night’s game between the Steelers and Ravens have been announced, and as expected, the Steelers listed Ben Roethlisberger as the emergency No. 3 quarterback for the game.
Roethlisberger is sitting out after experiencing headaches late during the week as a result of a concussion he suffered last Sunday against the Chiefs.
QB Charlie Batch (left wrist), G Chris Kemoeatu (knee) and S Troy Polamalu (knee) were ruled out earlier in the week by the Steelers. The team also deactivated CB Keenan Lewis, OG Kraig Urbik, DT Ra’Shon Harris and DE Nick Eason.
Ravens LB Terrell Suggs, who was doubtful due to a knee injury, was also deactivated for the game. Two other starters on defense — LB Ray Lewis and S Ed Reed — are active after being listed as questionable. Both were expected to play for Baltimore.
The other Ravens inactives: RB Charles Ali, LB Antwan Barnes, CB Cary Williams, OT Oniel Cousins, OG Tony Moll and NT Kelly Talavou. John Beck is the No. 3 QB.
