Browns lose Pro Bowl DT Rogers to ankle injury

Browns DT Shaun Rogers was carted off the field after injuring an ankle when a teammate fell on it, and the three-time Pro Bowl pick will not return to Sunday’s game against the Bengals.

Earlier in the game, Rogers was called for a horse-collar tackle on Bengals QB Carson Palmer, who came away unscathed. The tackle extended the first half, and the Bengals followed with a field goal that gave them a 13-0 lead.
