Eagles coach Andy Reid said Friday he expects CB Asante Samuel (neck) and LB Jeremiah Trotter (knee) to play in Sunday’s game against the Redskins.
Samuel was able to practice for the first time this week after sustaining his injury last week against the Bears.
“He’ll be out there, I think so” Reid said.
Trotter, who developed inflammation in his knee on Thursday night, was held out of practice Friday. Both players were officially listed as questionable on Friday’s injury report.
As expected, WR Kevin Curtis (knee), RB Brian Westbrook (concussion) and LB Akeem Jordan (knee) were ruled out against the Redskins.
