Raiders’ Seymour, Ekejiuba sidelined by injuries

Oakland Raiders DE Richard Seymour stained his lower back in Sunday’s 20-17 upset of the Bengals and did not return to the game. Raiders coach Tom Cable confirmed the injury during his postgame news conference, indicating the injury wasn’t serious.

Seymour left the game during the first quarter, but it wasn’t announced until after halftime by the team that he would not return.

Cable also said LB Isaiah Ekejiuba suffered a knee injury.

“We don’t know the extent of it, but it looks like there is some seriousness to it,” Cable said.
