Washington Redskins RG Chad Rinehart was carted off the field early during the third quarter against the Cowboys after what appeared to be a serious lower right leg injury. Rinehart was injured when his legs were rolled up on from behind while he was blocking on a running play. His lower right leg was immobilized, and he was loaded onto a stretcher before leaving the field.
Rookie OL Edwin Williams has replaced Rinehart as the Redskins hold a 3-0 lead midway through the third quarter.
