Bills’ Wood set for surgery on broken leg

The injury to Bills RG Eric Wood appears to be as bad as initially feared. The team’s official Web site reported Wood suffered a fractured tibia and fibula against the Jaguars and is staying in Jacksonville Sunday night to undergo surgery.
Wood, the team’s second first-round pick in April’s draft who has started all nine games this season, had to be carted off the field early during the fourth quarter against the Jaguars.
