Redskins coach Jim Zorn confirmed that RB Ladell Betts could be done for the season after tearing his MCL against the Cowboys. Zorn also said RB Clinton Portis has already been ruled out for Week 12.

The veteran back is now in line to start and presumably see most of the backfield work for the Redskins when they travel to Philadelphia to face the Eagles. He could be their top running back into the foreseeable future as well.

Cartwright proved he can make an impact in Sunday’s loss to Dallas, leading the ‘Skins in receptions (seven), receiving yards (73) and rushing yards (67).

He’ll be one of the hottest names on the fantasy waiver wire next week, and he’s still a free agent in 99 percent of NFL.com leagues.
