Jags’ Nelson fined $7.5K for roughing Jets’ Sanchez

The NFL fined Jaguars safety Reggie Nelson $7,500 for roughing the passer, a league source told NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora.
The league ruled that Nelson unnecessarily struck Jets QB Mark Sanchez in the head on a pass play last Sunday at the Meadowlands.
