Jaguars CB Rashean Mathis has officially been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Bills.
Mathis (groin) injured himself during Jacksonville’s win over the Jets last week in which he had an interception. He has already missed one game this season with a broken finger.
As if the off-field turmoil wasn’t enough for the Buffalo Bills, the team had 10 players miss practice on Wednesday.
LT Demetrius Bell (knee), FS Jairus Byrd (groin), CB Terrence McGee (knee), and DT Marcus Stroud (knee) were among the notable players listed. McGee didn’t play in last week’s 41-17 loss to the Titans.
Others who missed practice for the Bills were LB Keith Ellison (thigh), TE Derek Fine (knee), WR Justin Jenkins (illness), WR Roscoe Parrish (illness), DT Kyle Williams (knee), and CB Ashton Youboty (ankle).
