Bills haven’t asked for meeting with Shanahan

Mike Shanahan is among several coaching candidates in whom the Bills have interest, but chief operating officer/general manager Russ Brandon has no meeting scheduled with him, league sources told’s Vic Carucci.

Brandon is overseeing the search for a new coach after Dick Jauron was fired Tuesday and replaced by defensive coordinator Perry Fewell on an interim basis. According to the sources, Brandon hasn’t requested a meeting with Shanahan, who won two Super Bowls with the Broncos but was fired after last season.
