Panthers RB Williams active; Falcons OT Baker out

Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams is active for Sunday’s game against the Falcons, NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora reports.

Williams’ status was a game-time decision after he missed two of three practices this week with a sore left knee. The Panthers listed Williams as questionable on their injury report Friday

Williams’ backfield mate, Jonathan Stewart, also is expected to play despite his troublesome Achilles’ tendon.

The Falcons will have both of their starting wide receivers, Roddy White (knee) and Michael Jenkins (illness), but OT Sam Baker (ankle) and RB Jerious Norwood (hip) are out. Baker hadn’t missed a game this season. Norwood is sitting out his fourth consecutive game.
