Eagles’ Westbrook out with concussion

The Philadelphia Eagles will have to finish Sunday’s game against the Chargers without RB Brian Westbrook.  Westbrook is out for the remainder of the game due to another concussion.

Rookie RB LeSean McCoy is currently in for the Eagles, who trail the Chargers 28-16 midway through the fourth quarter.

Westbrook missed the last two games due to a concussion he suffered in Week 7 against the Redskins but was able to take part in full practices on Thursday and Friday this week.  He was listed as probable on the team’s final injury report, deeming himself “ready to go” against the Chargers.

Before the injury, Westbrook had rushed for 28 yards on six carries and caught two passes.
