Eagles’ Westbrook probable; Chargers hurting at LB

Eagles RB Brian Westbrook is listed as probable for Sunday’s game against the Chargers, who have starting LBs Shawne Merriman and Shaun Phillips pegged as questionable.
Westbrook has missed two consecutive games after leaving the Week 7 contest against the Redskins with a concussion. The Eagles also listed DE Victor Abiamiri (knee), S Quintin Demps (ankle) and T Jason Peters (ankle) as questionable to play against the Chargers.
Merriman (foot), Phillips (ankle) and LB Tim Dobbins (doubtful with a knee injury) all missed practice Friday. Center Nick Hardwick (ankle) also missed practice Friday and has been ruled out for the game.
Chargers RB LaDainian Tomlinson (hip) and TE Antonio Gates (foot) practiced Friday and are listed as probable.
