Teams have released their Week 10 practice participation reports through Wednesday. Here’s a look at some notable developments:
- Eagles RB Brian Westbrook (concussion, ankle) didn’t practice, although coach Andy Reid said his starter would be back Thursday. LT Jason Peters (ankle), who injured himself Sunday against the Cowboys, and RB Leonard Weaver (ankle) also sat out practice. DT Mike Patterson (toe) was limited.
- Bills WR Terrell Owens missed practice, and he might not play Sunday against the Titans. Buffalo will return its starting QB, Trent Edwards, who fully practiced after missing two games with a concussion. S Jairus Byrd (groin) and S Donte Whitner (ankle) were both limited for the Bills.
- Vikings QB Brett Favre (hip, groin) was a limited participant in practice, although he believes he will be OK for Sunday’s game against the Lions. WR Bernard Berrian (hamstring), LB E.J.Henderson (knee) and CB Antoine Winfield (foot) also were limited for the Vikings.
- Redskins RB Clinton Portis (concussion) is “very, very doubtful” for Sunday’s game against the Broncos, according to coach Jim Zorn. RB Ladell Betts (ankle), who would start in Portis’ place, missed practice, and QB Jason Campbell (ankle) was limited.
- Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin, who missed last weekend’s game against the Bears, fully participated in practice. WR Steve Breaston (knee) and TE Ben Patrick were both limited. Sitting out were OT Mike Gandy (pelvis), LB Gerald Hayes (back), DE Kenny Iwebema (knee), WR Sean Morey (head) and LB Chike Okeafor (back)
- RB DeAngelo Williams (knee) missed practice and is among seven Panthers nursing injuries. RB Jonathan Stewart (achilles) rested as usual Wednesday, and RB Brad Hoover (ankle) and S Charles Godfrey (ankle) also sat out. DE Julius Peppers (hand) and TE Dante Rosario (knee) were limited. WR Muhsin Muhammad (knee), who has missed two consecutive games, was back at practice.
- Packers OT Mark Tauscher (knee), TE Jermichael Finley (knee), LB Brandon Chillar (hand), LB Aaron Kampman (concussion) and LB Brady Poppinga (quadricep) all missed practice. Tauscher started Sunday against the Buccaneers; Finley has missed the previous two games. QB Aaron Rodgers (feet), CB Charles Woodson (hip) and WR Jordy Nelson (ankle) all were limited.
- Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck (right shoulder) was limited in practice, but he’s expected to play Sunday against the Cardinals. CB Ken Lucas (neck) also was limited.
- Some big-name players didn’t practice for the Saints, including WR Marques Colston (illness) and S Darren Sharper (knee). Also sitting out were DT Sedrick Ellis (knee), CB Jabari Greer (groin) and WR Lance Moore (ankle). Ellis has missed the last two games, and Moore sat out Sunday’s victory over the Panthers. LB Scott Fujita (calf), who has missed three consecutive games, was limited.
- Falcons WR Brian Finneran (knee) sat out practice because of the injury he suffered during last week’s victory over the Redskins. Also not practicing for Atlanta were RB Jerious Norwood (hip) and OT Sam Baker (ankle). Norwood, who has missed four games, missed practice to be at the birth of his child. RB Jason Snelling (hamstring), who has sat out the last two games, was limited, as was WR Roddy White (knee).
- Titans CB Cortland Finnegan (hamstring), WR Justin Gage (back) and RB LenDale White (illness) sat out practice. Finnegan, who has missed three games this season, returned an interception for a touchdown last weekend against the 49ers.
- The Bengals missed G Evan Mathis (ankle) and LB Keith Rivers (calf) at practice, and DE Robert Geathers (hip) and DE Frostee Rucker (neck) were limited.
- The Steelers were without RB Carey Davis (hamstring), G Trai Essex (illness) and DE Travis Kirschke (calf).
- Lions LB Larry Foote (knee) didn’t practice, and QB Matthew Stafford (knee) was limited. WR Calvin Johnson (knee), who made his return last weekend against the Seahawks after missing two consecutive games, fully participated.
- Jets LB Vernon Gholston (hamstring) sat out practice, and DE Shaun Ellis (knee) and T Damien Woody (back) were limited.
- Chiefs WR Chris Chambers (foot) and LB Mike Vrabel (hip) were limited participants in practice, and S Jon McGraw (thigh), who missed Sunday’s game against the Jaguars, fully participated.
- Buccaneers WR Antonio Bryant (knee), WR Michael Clayton (knee), QB Byron Leftwich (right elbow) and DE Stylez White (shoulder) missed practice.
- Dolphins LB Joey Porter (knee), G Justin Smiley (shoulder), DT Paul Soliai (ankle) and LB Erik Walden (hamstring) missed practice, and TE Anthony Fasano (hips) was limited.
- Cowboys S Ken Hamlin (groin) and C Andre Gurode (ankle) didn’t practice.
- Giants CB Aaron Ross practiced for the first time since pulling his left hamstring during training camp in August and hopes to be ready to play after the team’s bye week.
